The best ways to use technology to manage diabetes are to be covered during an in-person event next month.
Entitled ‘ABCD DTN-UK Educators Day Manchester 2024’, the face-to-face meeting will take place on Friday, March 15, at The Studio Manchester.
The event, which is being held by the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists (ABCD) and the Diabetes Technology Network UK (DTN-UK), has lined up a series of experts to discuss the rollout of the new technology appraisal for the hybrid closed loop five-year plan.
This meeting represents a unique opportunity for diabetes nurses, dietitians and technicians to keep up to date with the latest technology and to network with peers.
The event will explore the psychological impacts of diabetes and related technologies and share guidance on how to support people using diabetes technology in the inpatient setting.
In addition, the workshop will discuss pregnancy, tech choice and diabetes technology in frailty and the older population.
The meeting is free to attend, however you will need to register as a member of the DTN-UK in order to sign up to the event.
